Description
This article describes the algorithm used by QMM (Quest Migration Manager) for AD when a license is updated.

Resolution
QMM (DSA) queries ADAM for any license updates once per hour.
If you do not want to wait the specified time until new license will be applied, then you need to restart Quest Directory Synchronization Agent Configurator Service.
In this case the new license will be applied after the Quest Directory Synchronization Agent Configurator Service is started.
Alternatively (and preferably) the computer with DSA can be restarted.
Before restarting the service or rebooting the computer ensure all synchronizations are stopped and no migrations (migration sessions) are being performed.
