Cause
This can occur if a RemoteController value (discussed in https://support.quest.com/kb/86174) has been set to point to an unnavailable network server (or there is a mistyped server name in the setting) -
Resolution
Correct or remove the RemoteController value listed in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\QsRUMController\ConfigQuest Registry Disclaimer:Quest does not provide support for problems that arise from improper modification of the registry.
