Last Logged On User “LastLoggedOnUser” is not updated to show the target Username after a workstation move with RUM (Resource Updating Manager).
After a user is renamed during a migration session with Migration Manager for AD (Using an import file), the Registry Entry for “LastLoggedOnUser” is actually updated to reflect the target User, but due to a Windows mechanism, the original user name is displayed during the initial logon post workstation move.
There is no known resolution to this issue, and this will be added to the MMAD Release Notes as a “Known Issue” in coming versions.
The Registry Entry for “LastLoggedOnUser” is updated to reflect the target user on the workstation, and end users can provide their password for the target account. The user will be logged on as the target user with the preserved Windows profile, as long as Resource Processing completed successfully, and a Move operation was successful.
After the initial logon has completed, Windows will display the newly renamed user upon all future logons.
