DMA fails when migrating some objects with error 0x80131500 -
Description
DMA fails on migration session with Error 0x80131500
This can happen for user A and not user B for example, this is because user B has entirely different parameters set within NT Security Descriptor AD attribtue.
Here is an example of this error from a DMA log.
21/06/2019 17:32:13 5132 Error 0x80131500. Couldn't find object "<GUID=removed>;<SID=removed>DNremoved Please make sure that it was spelled correctly or specify a different object. -
Cause
DMA rule for send on behalf is not set to resolve to target object -
Resolution
DMA rule for send on behalf needs to be changed to "Resolve To" -
