Error during Synchronization: Error: 0xc00e0050. An attempted action cannot be performed within a transaction. (source=MSMQQueue) (4273233)

Reinstalling Message Queuing should resolve this issue. Message Queuing is normally installed when the DSA is installed or prior to the initial setup of QMM as it's a pre-requisite. The DSA is dependant on Message Queuing so any synchronization jobs running in QMM should be stopped prior to reinstalling Message Queuing. 

1. Stop all Synchronization jobs

2. Open Server Manager and go to Manage | Remove Roles and Features. Or go to Programs and Features and Turn Windows Features On or Off.

3. Within the Roles and Features wizard, go to the Features tab and deselect 'Message Queuing' and complete the wizard to remove the feature. 

4. Add Message Queuing back by opening Server Manager and going to Manage | Add Roles and Features. Or going to Programs and Features and selecting Turn Windows Features On or Off

5. Within the Roles and Features wizard, go to the Features tab and select 'Message Queuing' and complete the wizard to add the feature back. 

6. Start the Synchronization jobs again.

If the same error is returned then it may be required to reinstall the DSA agent after reinstalling Message Queuing, to reinstall the DSA agent perform the following steps:

1. Stop all Synchronization jobs

3. Right-click on the Agent Host machine and select Uninstall. If the agent host machine is the local console machine then an uninstall wizard will appear, go through the wizard to remove the agent. If the agent host is remote then the agent must be removed from 'Programs & Features' on the remote agent host machine then reinstalled manually using the DSA.msi file provided on the \\servername\dsasetup share on the console machine. 

4. To add the DSA agent back. Go to Tools | Agent Manager, right-click on the Agents node and select Install. 

5. Type in the server name where the DSA agent is to be installed and click OK

6. Go through the DSA setup wizard and enter the AD LDS connection information and complete the setup wizard

7. Start the Synchronization jobs again.
