To resolve this issue please follow these steps:
1. Create and run a Cleanup task against the client computer.
2. Create and run a new Discovery task against the client computer (if agents are required on the client computers).
3. Create and run a new Processing task against the client computer.
After a cleanup task is run against the client computer then the new processing task should run successfully.
