After a computer move is performed in Resource Updating Manager, users cannot logon to their workstation anymore.
Depending on RUM and DSA configuration computer accounts could have been deleted from the target domain by DSA after the computer was moved. As a result users cannot login to their computers anymore.
Issue is caused by a combination of three settings being turned on:
1) OU containing the computer accounts is in scope of synchronization from source to target.
2) Synchronization of object deletions is enabled.
3) In Resource Updating Manager on the Computers tab, the option "Preserve computer accounts in source domain" is cleared, so moving the computer deletes the source computer account.
In order to resolve the problem turn off any of the three options above. Previously affected computers will have to be joined to the domain manually.
