Migration Manager or Resource Updating Manager starts, but does not display the user interface (4264426)

Migration Manager or Resource Updating Manager is started, but nothing is displayed on screen. Task bar has the corresponding program button, but clicking it does not help.

This can be cause by someone running this instance of Migration Manager or RUM on the same machine in a remote desktop session, using a bigger screen resolution or two screens. When quitting the application the screen position is saved in the registry and the window may not display correctly upon the next start using a different screen resolution.

Right click the application button on the Window taskbar and select Move option in the context menu, then use the arrow keys (left and up) to see if the window comes back into the visible area or move the mouse to the center of your desktop and click once.
