Can Migration Manager migrate a Windows 2008 or above Cluster?
What are the steps to migrate a Windows 2008, Windows 2008 R2, and 2012 R2 Cluster using MIgration Manager?
Unfortunately, due to Microsoft limitations, It is impossible to use Migration Manager to migrate a Windows 2008, Windows 2008 R2, and 2012 R2 Clustered server. This includes using Vmover.exe remotely, or locally on the server, or Resource Updating Manager.
Important: Because of an increased dependence on Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft does not support moving an already installed and configured Windows Server 2008 failover cluster from one domain to another. When you use Windows Server 2008, you must create a new cluster. Additionally, you must recluster highly available applications. For more information please see the MS article 269196:
