SQL Processing Wizard fails with error: Error -2147467259 [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (SECDoClientHandshake()).]SSL Security error. -
Cause
The TLS 1.0 protocol is disabled on the SQL Server. -
Resolution
To resolve this issue the TLS 1.0 protocol must be enabled on the SQL Server within the registry:
1. Under the following key within regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.0 \Server
2. Set Enabled to 1
3. Reboot the SQL Server for the changes to take effect.
