2. Gather the following information from the Open Project screen in QMM:
a. ADAM or AD LDS Server name
b. Port
c. Project name
3. Launch ADSI Edit on the server hosting the AD LDS Instance.
4. Connect to the AD LDS instance.
a. In ADSI Edit, click on Action, then select Connect To…
b. Under Connection Point, select the option for ‘Select or type a Distinguished Name or Naming Context:’
c. Enter the Project name in the format of CN=ProjectName
d. Under Computer, select the option for ‘Select or type a domain or server: (Server | Domain [:port])
e. Enter the AD LDS Server name and port in the format of: ServerFQDN:PortNumber
f. Click OK.
5. Right-click on the Default naming context and select New | Query.
6. Enter a name for the query and click on Browse and navigate to: | AMMProject_GUID | ResourceProcessing | Computers.
7. Select the Computers node and click OK.
8. For 'Query String', enter the following query, changing the value for 'computername' to the name of the computer which needs to be updated: (aelita-amm-name=computername)
9. Locate the query results, there should be only 1 result. If you expand this result then you will see the results for the Tasks which were run against this computer using RUM.
10. Right-click on the result for the computer and select Properites.
11. Locate the attribute 'aelita-amm-DomainName and click Edit.
12. Remove the outdated domain name and add the domain name where the computer now lives and click OK, and OK again.
13. Within the RUM console the updated domain name should now be shown after clicking away from the collection and then clicking back on the collection again to refresh the view.
