Description
When adding or editing on the Storage Endpoints page in Central Administration, the following error message is found in the ULS log:
System.Web.HttpException: Could not load type 'Bluethread.SharePoint.StoragePoint.Adapters.DefaultConnectionUI'.
at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.GetType(String typeName, Boolean ignoreCase, Boolean throwOnError)
at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ProcessInheritsAttribute(String baseTypeName, String codeFileBaseTypeName, String src, Assembly assembly)
at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.PostProcessMainDirectiveAttributes(IDictionary parseData) -
Cause
SharePoint may not have successfully deployed the StoragePoint SafeControl entries to the Central Administration web.config file.

Resolution
- Performing a repair installation is the easiest way to correct this issue. To do so, run the StoragePoint installer file and select Repair as the type of install.
- If the option above is undesirable, run the command below in the SharePoint Management Shell, which should force the deployment of the web.config entries:
Enable-SPFeature StoragePointFileSystemAdapter -force
