When attempting to connect to a SharePoint site using an Azure Application Proxy, the connection will not complete and an error message similar to the one below is displayed:
The Azure Application Proxy mechanism blocks connections.
Connections using the Azure Application Proxy service are not officially supported. As a workaround, it may be possible to move the installation of Essentials from the source to the target environment, or vice versa. However, this is not guaranteed to work. If this is unsuccessful, creating an account that bypasses the Azure Application Proxy mechanism (such as an onmicrosoft.com account) should resolve the connection issue.
