One or more messages cannot be opened in Outlook when using the Metalogix Archive Manager Addin for Outlook
Error message produced states:
We can't open 'C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Temp\2\Addintamp\xxxxx . It's possible the file is already opening or you don't have permission to open it.
To check your permissions, right click the file folder, then click Properties
Message has already been purged from the archive
HSM files or the HSM store that contains the message is not available
If there are problems opening archived messages with the Metalogix Archive Manager addin for Outlook installed, the addin can report the problem incorrectly. This issue has been reported to development to request an update in a future version.
To check the problem with the message(s) log in to the archive server and perform the following:
1. Verify you can search for the message using the Archive Manager search. If the message has already been purged from the archive it will not be found by a search.
2. If the message is still in the archive, attempt to restore the message to the user's mailbox using the Metalogix Archive Manager Exchange Edition console. If you receive an error this should help to determine the cause of the problem.
3. Verify that your HSM Base Operations Service is running on the archive server as well as all HSM Store services.
Note: HSM Store services all start with the letters PMS
