I am not able to or do not have permissions to delpoy the sql jobs to the sql server. How can I manually run the data aging jobs against the messagestats database.
The Data Aging job that Messagestats can deploy executes two stored procedures found in the Messagestats database.
pr_dataagingdelstats
pr_dataagingdelaudits
The pr_dataagingdelstats stored procedure looks at the value in the StatsRetentionDays column found in the T_Configuration table in the Messagestats database.
The pr_dataagingdelaudits stored procedure looks at the value in the AuditRetentionDays column found in the T_Configuration table in the Messagestats database.
The following example will retain 365 days worth of data in the Messagestats database.
***NOTE*** When the data aging runs it will subtract the number of days specified in the two coulmns below from todays date.
Right click on the T_Configuration table and choose edit (top 200 rows for SQL 2008 and above) for the StatsRetentionDays column type a value of 365 and press enter for the AuditRetentionDays column type a value of 365 and press enter.
Right click on the Messagestats database and select 'New Query'
To Age Statistic data do the following:
1) In the New Query window enter exec pr_dataagingdelstats
2) Execute this command using the Execute button (!) or press F5
To Age Audit data do the following:
