Issue with gathering tracking logs when compression is enabled. (4340704)

The zipped up tracking logs from MessageStats (QMS) Compression are not getting parsed. Although they look like they copy with no issue and say successful for parsing, but the Server Activity Report for these servers show no data found and Exchange at a Glance is only showing data for 1 Exchange Server which doesn't use QMS Compression.

WORKAROUND:

Disable Tracking Log Compression, remove the compressed directory from the Tracking Log share so MessageStats doesn't try to gather from the compressed log files.


STATUS:

This issue was fixed in MessageStats 6.0.1. The latest version of MessageStats can be downloaded at: http://support.quest.com/support_download/Downloads.asp.

MMC, Schedule Service, Task Service and Reports installed on a W2K3 Sp1 with ESM.

Database installed on a separate W2K3 Sp1 SQL 2000 Sp4.
