During a gathering the following error is produced,
An error occurred for the following mailbox (CN=UserName,OU=Department,OU=City,OU=Group,DC=Name,DC=Name,DC=com) in trying to add the Security information: The server is not operational.

Resolution
To resolve this issue, please verify the existence of CN=UserName,OU=Department,OU=City,OU=Group,DC=Name,DC=Name,DC=com and that access to that object is granted to the MessageStats Service Account or the account running the gatherings.
The only Microsoft support article with that error and CDO is this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327079/en-us. It is unrelated since we don't create any mailboxes.
