Description
MessageStats is unable to gather mailbox statistics. The Gathering log file or the console may indicate an issue with the version of MAPI subsystem,
The error is as follows: (where xxx indicates a line number)

Resolution
To resolve this issue install Outlook 2000 or greater with all the latest Service Packs and Hot Fixes. Once installed, reboot and try the gathering again to confirm the issue has been resolved.
