This section describes the new or improved features that can be found in MessageStats release 7.2
Ability to reclassify a gathered SMTP internal namespace as external
When reporting on internal and external email traffic, MessageStats automatically determines the internal SMTP namespaces based on SMTP recipient policies, and on the domains contained in your mailboxes' primary and secondary SMTP addresses. You can also manually specify additional internal namespaces using the SMTP Namespaces property page. If an external namespace has been automatically added to the internal namespace list, you can now use the SMTP Namespace property page to clear the domain from the list.
Setting up Kerberos to Support Windows Authentication for a Distributed Installation
In the Deployment Recommendations chapter of the MessageStats Deployment Guide, a new section has been added to explain how to configure Kerberos delegation so that you can use Windows Authentication in an installation in which the MessageStats database and the MessageStats reports server are installed on different computers. You can find the MessageStats Deployment Guide in the Documentation folder in the MessageStats installation folder.
Integrated SQL Scripts for MessageStats Database Creation and Migration
The SQL scripts used to create the MessageStats database and to upgrade the MessageStats database now include the database tables for all the report packs.
Additional Reports Added to Migration Node
For convenience, additional public folder reports have been added to the Migration reports node.
