The Data Aging function of the Database Management tool does not delete OWA data that is marked for deletion and that is past the specified data aging date.
WORKAROUND:
1. Ensure that no OWA tasks are running.
2. Open SQL Management Studio -> New Query if you have SQL 2005 or SQL Query Analyser if you have SQL 2000.
3. Just type the following:
USE [MessageStats]
GO
Exec PR_OwaDataAgingDelStats
GO
4. This will delete OWA records that are more than 30 days old.
5. If you need the data aging days to be something different(for example 60 days) than 30 days, then modify the stored procedure PR_OwaDataAgingDelStats to change the RetainStatsDays to 60 days as follows and then run step 3.
SET @RetainStatsDays = 60;
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of MessageStats
