Unable to Install SQL DMO on Windows 2008 R2 or Windows 2012\R2 -
Description
When trying to install the SQL Server Distributed Management Objects using "SQL Server 2005_BC.msi" The installer gives an error installing on Windows 2008 R2 Server.
Error Message:
"Installation of this product failed because it is not supported on this operating system. For information on supported configurations, see the product documentation"
