Error in Application Event Log: "Error 0x80004005. Delivery failed. Error="Unspecified error" X (4212793)

When using a subscription to send a report to a URL you receive the following error in the Windows application event log:

"Some reports failed.
The following errors occurred:
Error 0x80004005. Delivery failed. Error="Unspecified error
"
X reports were not delivered./nError 0x80004005. Error 501 returned from web server. File="Name_of_Report.htm"

1. In IIS Manager, under the server node, select the Web Service Extensions folder.
2. In the right hand pane, select WebDAV.
3. Click the Allow button. This provides functionality to create, change and move documents on the remote server and without it, the subscription will not be able to add the file the web site.

Along with this step, ensure the following:

- The account used for the subscription must have write access to the windows folder that the virtual folder refers to.
- The virtual folder must have Integrated Windows Authentication enabled.
- The virtual folder must have Write specified in the properties of the virtual folder under the Home Directory tab.
