When restoring a LiteSpeed backup to a destination server, does the destination server need the LiteSpeed application installed? And does it need a valid license key?

Resolution
The application must be installed in order to restore a database using LiteSpeed. However, a valid license is not needed to restore a database. The only time a valid license is needed is when a backup is being taken.

Additional Information
For example in a Disaster Recovery (DR) scenario:
If LiteSpeed is used to ONLY perform a restore, the destination server can be set to use the demo/trial key. The restore process will complete successfully even though the demo/trial key has expired.The backup file may also be created as a Double Click Restore file or a regualr backup file may be turned into a DCR file (see Help file for details)
