Cause

LiteSpeed for SQL Server 8.9.8.48 and below uses a previous version of the AWS CLI API which does not support Instance Metadata Service Version 2.
Resolution

There are two possible resolutions to this problem:

RESOLUTION 1:

Upgrade LiteSpeed for SQL Server to version 8.9.8.51 or above.

RESOLUTION 2:

Use AccessKey and SecretKey instead of IAM Roles.
