Description
SLSRecast.exe does not create a double click restore file
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Create a normal LiteSpeed for SQL Server full backup file.
2. Run SLSrecast.exe via cmd line to convert the backup from step one into a double click restore file.
3. Note the returned message does NOT say the file has been renamed.
4. try to execute the DCR file created in step 2.
5. Note any errors. Error may include that the bit version is incorrect -

Resolution
WORKAROUND:
1. Create the DCR file during the backup itself.2. From the LiteSpeed for SQL Server console, Backup Browser tab, rght click on the file and convert to Double Click Restore.
STATUS:
Fixed in a future version of LiteSpeed. -
