The process will run for hours. There is no activity in theLiteSpeedlogs.
In the application event log you may see something similar to this:
Query execution failed.
Message: The media family on device 'M:MSSQLSERVERBACKUPSCR4TST4QUESTTLSDSFull 033_20090209COMMUNICATIONSK' is incorrectly formed. SQL Server cannot process this media family.
RESTOREFILE LISTT is terminating abnormally..

Software Defect
This points to the restore hang bug that was in 5.0.0.10668. When this happens the restore does not complete and LiteSpeed appears to stop writing to the log file (hang).
RESOLUTION:
Fixed in 5.0.2.1030
