Error: 'The package path referenced an object that cannot be found' (4286647)

When new LiteSpeed maintenance plan is created, it fails to run with the following error message appearing in the Job History:

WORKAROUND:
The REGSVR32DTS.DLL should be reregistered.
1. Select Start | Run | type REGSVR32DTS.DLL | Click OK
2. An on screen message will display indicating that the DllRegisterServer in DTS.DLL has succeeded.
