When can the Object Level Recovery feature of LiteSpeed be utilized to recovery tables, schema, views, stored procedures, defaults, rules, user-defined data types, user-defined functions, indexes, constraints, triggers, from SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005?
Â
Backup files created by LiteSpeed, native Microsoft SQL Server, created by Native Command Substitution:
This feature may be utilized from the Enterprise Console, via the Command Prompt or via the Microsoft SQL Server Query Analyzer. Object Level Recovery may only be used with Full database backup files and is not available for Differential, Transaction Logs or Double-Click exe files.
NOTE: You cannot restore an item of the same name to a database. Typically, you would recover to a different name, and then move the data from the new item (using bcp) to the original item, followed by deleting the recovered item.
For additional detail, please see the LiteSpeed Help File in Version 4.6. The latest version of LiteSpeed for SQL Server can be downloaded at: http://support.quest.com/support_download/Downloads.asp.
NOTE: Object Level Recovery is only available with the Professional version of the LiteSpeed license.
The functionality of xp_sqllitespeed_licenseinfo changed beginning with Version 6.0x
This extended stored procedure, when run without arguments, returns a result set showing the currently installed LiteSpeed license, including License Type, Edition and Expire Date.
