Standalone Quest SQL Optimizer for SQL Server 6.5 supports Vista, but Toad for SQL Server cannot be used with this standalone version and as of Toad for SQL Server 3.2, it does not install with Optimizer 6.5.
If Optimizer is licensed through Toad, you cannot upgrade just the Optimizer portion for Vista support. There are plans for Toad 4.0 to include Optimizer 6.5 which will then support Vista. Toad users should upgrade to Toad for SQL Server 4.0 for the associated SQL Optimzier 6.5 and Vista support when available.
