Not able to open compressed files in the Log Reader.

The following message is given when trying to open a compressed file in the Log Reader.
"The file <filename> is a SQL Server native compressed backup. Native compressed backups are not supported"

Native compressed backup files are not supported by the Log Reader.
Log Reader does support files with LiteSpeed compression.
