Different ways to STOP, CANCEL, or KILL a SQL Query.
1) Select View | Options | Oracle | Transactions, verify that "Execute queries in threads" option is enabled. This option enables the Cancel button in the SQL Editor window.

3) If you have the DBA Module, go to DBA | Session Browser and kill the entire session.
4) click on the tab and select close_tab. At this time, it will ask if I want to cancel execution and close the tab.
