Problem using keyboard keys to highlight words with underscore characters.

In the Editor, highlight a word using keyboard keys is not working as expected.
Example : HELP_ME_PLEASE
When at the start of the above phrase, i.e. in front of 'H' in the example, hold down <CTRL> and then press the right arrow key to move right. This moves the cursor to the end of the word "HELP_", just before the 'M' of "ME". That's fine.
Problems is when you hold <CTRL><SHIFT> and press right arrow to highlight. You would expect it to highlight just the word "HELP", but instead it highlights the whole phrase "HELP_ME_PLEASE". This shouldn't happen.
Other MS applications bring you to the end of the word, not to the start of the next word if you do the same thing.
