The following error is received when trying to connect to a database.
"'ERROR [08001] [IBM] SQL30082N Security processing failed with reason "24" ("USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD INVALID"). SQLSTATE=08001'"
WORKAROUND #1:
Try connecting outside of Toad to see if the same error is received. This will tell whether it is a Toad issue or not.
WORKAROUND #2:
This error can be received if a UNIX account is not set up, when one is required. Please contact network admin/DBA to confirm.
