How to connect to an Informix database using IBM Informix Driver (4311983)

How can one connect to an Informix database using IBM Informix Driver?

1. Click New Connection button.
2. Select 'ODBC' group.
3. If a Data Source Name (DSN) has not already been set up outside Toad, click on the 'Open ODBC Data Source Administrator' button otherwise skip to step 8.
4. Click 'Add' | Select the 'IBM INFORMIX ODBC DRIVER' | Finish.
5. Enter Data Source Name (required) and Description (optional).
6. Enter required connection information (see additional information). If you do not have all required information, please contact your DBA or Network Admin.
7. Click 'Apply & Test Connection' to ensure you can connect successfully | OK to close the window.
8. Select the DSN from the drop-down and enter username/password details.
9. Click 'Save' or 'Connect'.
