Get the following error when connected to Hive and using Database Browser and other functionality. Editor is working fine.
[Hortonworks][HiveODBC] (80) Syntax or semantic analysis error thrown in server while execurint query. Error message from server: Error while compiling statement: FAILED: ParseException line 1:28 cannot recognize input near '.' '<Object_name>' '<EOF>' in table source
원인
Connection to Hive is through ODBC connection.
해결 방안
Connect to Hive using native method. In the new connection window, there is a selection for Hive in the drop down field. Connect to Hive this way, instead of through ODBC.
