Toad for Data Analysts freezes when exporting millions of rows of data

Im trying to export about 1.5 million rows of data from an Oracle database in Toad and it seems to freeze up Toad during the process. I have waited more than 2 hours and Toad stayed frozen, but after terminating Toad, the export seem to complete; Toad just didnt function after wards.
