Upgrade Foglight Capacity Director

The latest version of Foglight Capacity Director is 6.0.0.

Foglight Capacity Director 6.0.0 requires Management Server version v or Foglight Evolve v. It also requires Foglight for VMware version v (or later) and Foglight for Hyper-V version 6.0.0(or later).

To upgrade Foglight Capacity Director to the latest version:

Download the following packages from Quest Support Portal:
•
Foglight for VMware version 6.0.0 (which includes the vUsage-Feedback-6_0_0.car, DRP-6_0_0.car, Virtual-VMware-6_0_0.car, and Virtual-VMware-Admin-6_0_0.car cartridge files)
•
Foglight Change Analyzer version 6.0.0 (which includes the CommonAnalytics-6_0_0.car and ChangeAnalyzer-6_0_0.car cartridge files)
•
Foglight for Hyper-V version v (which includes the vUsage-Feedback-6_0_0.car, DRP-6_0_0.car, Virtual-HyperV-Admin-6_0_0.car, and Virtual-HyperV-6_0_0.car cartridge files)
•
Foglight for SCVMM 6.0.0(which includes the SCVMM.car cartridge file)
•
Foglight Resource Optimizer Automation version 6.0.0 (which includes the OptimizerAutomation-6_0_0.car cartridge file)
•
Foglight Capacity Director version 6.0.0 (which includes the Capacity-Director-6_0_0.car cartridge file)

On the Cartridge Inventory dashboard, install the following cartridge files. Do not remove the older version of these cartridges. Install the new versions over the older versions. The sequence of cartridge installation is important because of their dependencies. For cartridge installation instructions, see “Installing Foglight cartridges” in the Foglight Administration and Configuration Help.

Upgrade Foglight Cost Director

The latest version of Foglight Cost Director is 6.0.0.

Foglight Cost Director 6.0.0 requires Management Server version 6.0.0 or Foglight Evolve 6.0.0. It also requires Foglight for VMware Lite version 6.0.0 and Foglight for Hyper-V Lite version 6.0.0.

To upgrade Foglight Cost Director to the latest version:

Upgrade Foglight Cloud Migration

The latest version of Foglight Cloud Migration is 6.0.0.

Foglight Cloud Migration 6.0.0 requires Management Server version 5.9.8 (or later), or Foglight Evolve 9.3 (or later). It also requires Foglight for VMware Lite version 6.0.0 and Foglight for Hyper-V Lite version 6.0.0.

To upgrade Foglight Cloud Migration to the latest version:
