If an Open System is to serve as an SV Primary, the Account and Password information used to add the SV Primary refers to the values that were generated when NetApp SnapVault Client software was originally installed and configured on said SV Primary. When adding multiple Open Systems as SV Primaries, the Use Default Account and Password option are only valid if all Open Systems were configured with this same user name and password. Otherwise, it is necessary to clear this check box, and configure user credentials for each SV Primary.
