We are setting up SFTP in STAT to transfer files via CSR migrations. In here, we have firewalls and we would like to know how does STAT move files from working directory to say DEV or from DEV to Qual and Prod. Does that happen through the STAT Central Agent - meaning the files first get transferred to the Central Agent (Unix) server and then to the Target server? Or the file transfer happens simply from source to target (say Qual to Prod servers) directly?

Stat central agent does the moving of the file object. However it's required that you have configure a valid FTP/SFTP server. In other word, your SFTP server should work outside of stat first before you configure it within stat. If you are worry about firewall, then logon to stat web | click the menu button | test connect button| file servers tab and make sure the test connection is ok. If it's ok then most likely your file transfer should work.
