A user would like to know how Space Manager updates Oracle statistics after a table reorg as they may experience regular sequential reads over tables and SAP jobs running for extraordinary amounts of time.
Statistics may not exist or an index is non-existent.
Once you drop the table, the statistics are gone, so you may need to analyze it. If you can generate oracle statistics directly, you can create an analysis group to do that. Losing an index is a possibility but we doubt it, chances are slim.
Another possibility is that the table was originally sorted to create a good clustering factor per specify index. The user may consider sorted reorg. Of course we cannot recommend which index to use, it depends on the application.
Please click on this link for examples, it will work. You can use the missing option.
