When running a task in ODM for any project workload, you might encounter the following error after a task is started: "Cannot run the task because both Quest On Demand - Migration - Basic - Minimal and Quest On Demand - Migration - Basic - Full consents have been granted for the target tenant. Let running tasks complete. Then revoke the Quest On Demand - Migration - Basic - Minimal consent before you start more tasks. "
This issue is caused because for certain workload types, you granted both the Minimal and Full consents.
For example both the "Quest On Demand - Migration - Basic - Minimal" and "Quest On Demand - Migration - Basic - Full" have been granted. Same thing can happen if both consents were granted for Mailbox, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
It is also possible in some rare scenarios when you have a tenant which is used in separate migration projects. In one project this tenant is the source tenant, but in the other project it is the target tenant, so you granted both the Minimal and Full consents.
Revoke / Delete the Minimal consents from the target tenant, and leave only the Full consents.
If a tenant is used for both source and target in separate projects, you should leave only the Full consent too, since we do not have any control over which Enterprise Application is used. We always going to pick the one with the least permissions, which is the Minimal, but Minimal consent does not allow us to write data to the target, so it will break your project where the tenant is used as the target tenant.
Lastly, run a Refresh Project task in your SharePoint project.
