Why are the TSM backup files not visible on the TSM Server? (4222906)

LiteSpeed uses an Application Programming Interface (API) with TSM and the backups files are stored in TSM file system. To retrieve them, call the API.

TSM Server stores the backups files on its file system

When running a backup from Litespeed UI or script to TSM, it uses a API and send the files to the TSM file system.

You will be able to restore the backup files and also see the file names on the User Interface (UI), LiteSpeed has an API to communicate with TSM Server, however you cannot see the backup files on its destination, they are all in the TSM file system.
