Question regarding device synchronization and if it affects the source objects

I am looking for information regarding profiles I've created for devices workstations and servers. The profiles are setup and devices registered with the agent. The profiles have never been synced and I need to know at what point of the migration do I sync the devices, what happens when I run a push / pull sync?

The source objects are not affected by a sync. The Devices profile sync should be after users and groups are synced and prior to running the device ReACL and cutover.
The Push/Pull sync performs the following: Push: Syncs the source object information into the SQL database. Pull: Syncs the objects from SQL to the Target AD environment.
Once the device Push/Pull sync is complete, you are ready to ReACL and Cutover.
