Can Recovery Manager for Active Directory use a DIT file to recover deleted objects from Active Directory?
Recovery Manager now makes it possible to use Active Directory (ADAM) backups created with third-party backup tools.
Before using this feature, unpack the backup to an alternate location with the corresponding third-party backup tool, then register the database file (ntds.dit or adamntds.dit) using the Online Restore wizard or Online Restore wizard for ADAM, respectively.
