How to connect and scan from Postgres SQL DB in DISuite (4321579)

Question:

How to connect to Postgres SQL database and scan metadata from Metadata Manager module under DISuite

Symptoms:

 Firstly, there is no Postgres database connector available under DISuite list of connectors which can be selected to connect and scan the respective metadata.

Resolution:

• To connect to the Postgres database, users need to select the Database Type as Greenplum and the driver name would be automatically populated as Greenplum database is using Postgres driver in the backend  (Attached Snapshot).

• Once the required database is selected, then users can provide the details for the connection parameters to connect to the database.
• Once the connection is established, by verifying with test connection icon , then scanning of the metadata can be done with the selection of the schemas.
