How to add a filter to exclude a VMware root account events from appearing in a search/report

An administrator may need to add an exclusion filter to prevent events generated by a VMware root account from appearing in the results of a configured search.

Complete the following steps to create the exclusion filter for the VMware root account:
Select the report to be configured.
Select the “Who” tab in the report properties section.
Click the “Add With events” button in the properties menu.
Scroll for or type a keyword to find and select the account to exclude
Click add to move the selected account to the parameter section below and click “Ok”.
Check the “Exclude the following selections(s)” Check box and save the report.
