How can to determine what process is using a log file or temp file?

Is there a place in foglight to tell what process is running that is using the log file and the temp file? For example, we get alerts when Log file utilization and temp file utilization fills up. We want to be able to identify the process that is causing the utilization to grow. Is there a place in foglight that can identify the process using temp and log?

Foglight cannot discern which process is using a file.
There are utilities available for download on the Internet for Windows and cmds in UNIX that will assist you with that task.
