Ensure that the account using to run the backup can get to the share that the backups are being stored on, from the domain controller. For example, if the backups are being stored on the Recovery Manager for AD server then login to the DC using the backup account (or map a drive with those credentials) and then access the share where the backups are being sent to (for example \\RMADserver\D$\Backups).
