User defined SQL file extension (i.e. PKG) not formatted when opened with the Toad Editor.

I have my own file extensions to save my function, procedure, or package SQL as files. For example, all package SQLs are saved with the PKG extension. When I open these saved SQLs, with my own extension, the code does not get formatted. It comes up as plain text. Can the Editor recognize my own extensions?

1. Go to View | Toad Options 2. Go to Editor | Behavior 3. On the right side under Languages, click on ellipse box (...) 4. Under the General tab, add your own extension (i.e. PKG) to the File Extensions field
