Discontinued Support for the 11th Generation PowerEdge server platform (11G) for the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) and KACE Systems Deployment Appliance (SDA) (4282484)

This Knowledge Base article describes the discontinuance of support for 11th Generation (typically, model R610) hardware for KACE appliances.

As of March, 2018, all KACE support for 11G physical hardware has ended. The 11th Generation PowerEdge server platform will no longer be supported for the KACE SMA & SDA appliances.

The final supported versions for 11G hardware are:

• SMA 8.0.320
• SDA 5.0.1016

If you are still running the appliance software on the PowerEdge 11th Generation hardware platform, please contact your KACE Sales Representative to plan for a hardware refresh or conversion to a virtual appliance.
